SKIN, NEW BAND! GACKT YOSHIKI SUGIZO AND MIYAVI!!

In August 2006, Yoshiki (formerly in X Japan and Globe) announced at Otakon that he would start a band with Gackt (formerly in Malice Mizer).In December of the same year, it was reported that Sugizo (formerly in Luna Sea) might be joining the group as the third member. Finally, on May 25, 2007, at the J Rock Revolution festival in Los Angeles, Skin was eventually announced, including the previously discussed artists, as well as Miyavi (formely in Dué le quartz). Skin will perform at the Anime Expo convention in Long Beach, California on June 29, 2007. On May 27 it was announced that a U.S. tour would start after the Anime Expo performance, followed by some performances in Japan in November. As of May 2007, no announcements regarding recorded material or the group's instrumental lineup have been made.
